Established in the 1940s, the Ohio Railway Museum is one of America's oldest museums dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of rail transit history. Visitors can peruse its impressive collection of vintage streetcars and electric and steam locomotives, or learn about the chronology of electric rail transportation and its effect on the country and the world. The museum lies in the downtown area, near the Gahanna Historical Society.
