The Riffe Gallery, managed by the Ohio Art Council, presents the work of local Ohio artists as well as rotating collections borrowed from the state’s museums and galleries. Some past exhibits include "A Carnival of Animals: Beasts Birds and Bugs in Original Illustrations from Children's Books" and "Land of Latitudes: Contemporary Art From Chile." Sometimes hosting local drama groups, the gallery also seeks to educate the community by providing classes on art appreciation. The Riffe Gallery is located in the Vern Riffe Center, across from the Statehouse in downtown Columbus.
