First of all tthe waitstaff was about as rude as you can be. The sushi was a far cry from being real sushi. (overpriced doesn't make it good). I think I could have found fresher fish in the Olentangy after a rainstorm. One good attribute was Dj spun good music, however was a little to assure of herself as well. My advice visit Tokyo and hire a real sushi chef.. I give 1 star just for the music.

During normal daytime business hours, Bento serves asian cuisine including fresh Sushi and many " bowl" entrees such as teriyaki rice bowls or noodle bowls. Honestly, the Sushi is not half bad but some of the bowls and other entrees are less than palatable. Unfortunately, the chicken is not that good and the sauce is tasteless. The rice has a weird, consistency. It is sticky, which I like, but tastes a little over-cooked. Honestly, there are better (and cheaper) asian restaurants nearby. The reason I gave it 4 stars. After 7pm, the bar on the upstairs level opens. It is a very hip and chill atmosphere. The bar tender is very cool and makes an excellent dirty martini. The real treat is that they are one of the few places I know of that serves Saki - you just cant get enough! They have a DJ booth and feature mostly house and other electronica DJs - one of the more appealing parts of the bar.All in all, avoid the food but not the bar.

I was sad to see Insomnia go, but Bento Go Go is definitely a pleasant retreat from the chain fast food restaurants popping up everywhere else around campus. The menu has quite a few good vegetarian options and several of your more typical types of sushi available for relatively cheap. There is also a sake lounge upstairs open later in the evening. Good food and outdoor seating.

This place is supposedly (heard through rumor, but probably true) by the same people that own Haiku on high street in the short north. If you want to go somewhere for good (note I say good, but not amazing) sushi, this is the place to check out. It's good if you're craving sushi, but don't want to drop $40 on someplace expensive. It had a good selection of other cooked items as well. My boyfriend really likes the bbq beef they have, and the teriyaki chicken is tasty as well. It's a fun little place with good food at a good price.
